Just came back from an incredible two hours of music at Coffee Gallery, Alta Dena, California.  John York, formerly of the Byrds, Billy Darnell, also formerly with the Byrds, and Chad Watson, a sessionist who has played with everyone in the music industry had the house rocking!  They opened their set with the 1960’s classic “Chimes of Freedom”, followed by “Bells of Rhimney” and closed with “Eight Miles High”, and then encores of three songs, including Mr. Tamborine Man.  Watching them play, and listening to the music was truly enjoyable.  It was evident they were having fun playing.

John York’s guitar playing is amazing.  He plays a Guild 12 string, and dances as he plays.

Billy Darnell plays lead guitar.  Watching him follow John, also truly amazing.

Chad Watson on bass – very funny, very skilled and loves what he does.

Highly enjoyable night listening to incredible music.

Would I go back again?  Yes!
